First Hotel to be Built in Space
The first space hotel to be built in space will be completed in 2025 and will be operational in 2027.According to a foreign news agency, the world's first space hotel to be built in the orbit of the Earth will have restaurants, cinema halls and special living quarters (living pods) with a capacity of 400 people.The hotel is being built by Arbital Assembly Corporation, a company known for its space construction, which will be operational in 2027.
The Space Hotel will provide all the facilities that are provided in an ocean cruise ship. The hotel will be designed as a revolving ring with specially designed accommodation (pods) attached. Accommodations specially designed by hotel developers can also be sold to NASA and the European Space Agency for research.
The design of the hotel will be based on several circles with several modules. Most of these modules will be built in the outer part of the circle which will have restaurants etc. while 24 modules will be used by the company which will provide accommodation for the staff members, water, electricity and air for the hotel etc. In addition, other units can be sold or leased to governments and private companies.
